Where to eat in Perissa?

You will find lot's of places to eat from Greek tavernas to Italian restaurants and Fish restaurants.

We would like to suggest some places we think are really nice and clean.

 Tavernas:

  Cyclades Greek Taverna  located on the main street at Perissa shopping center a   clean low budget place.

  Lava  well known taverna on the beach that serves cooked meals, almost like home!

Kalimera  This place got the best reviews from guests I have been talking to in summer 2005 situated on the beach as well.

 Volcano  Near Kalimera, a place well known for the quality of food that it serves for years now, so crowded you have to wait for a table to empty!

 Italian Restaurants :

 Cafe Del Mare   Nice place located on the main street opposite Cyclades Taverna serves mainly Italian cuisine and desserts.

Scirocco Restaurant  Well known Italian Restaurant for the best pizza you have ever tasted. Located a few meters before the Big church , on the main street of Perissa. 

Creperies:

Traffico  recently opened in summer 2005, on the beach, enormously large and tasteful crepes, sandwiches and salads.

In Acrotiri  we suggest the lovely " The dolphins Fish Tavern "  on the road to the red beach, located literally on the seashore with fresh fish they catch on their own fishing boat!

In Oia when you visit the village to see the sunset do not forget to pay a visit at the most famous patisserie of the island, named Melenios a large variety of sweets, unforgettable panacotas, cheese cakes and pastries! Always fresh!

Where to have a drink?

 The Beach Bar : The oldest perhaps place in the village, on the beach next to the camping place, dancing and party after midnight with bonfires and full moon parties, a place you must visit!

Yazz : Well known place to relax on the beach and try coctails and coffees all day.

Vinsanto : Well known for nice tropical coctails open all day long.

Sellada: Well known for the excellent breakfast and omelates they serve. Open all day long. 

 Where to buy grocerie?

You will find lot's of mini markets around the village but I am sure you will find convenient Big Discount supermarket as they come to pick you up from your hotel, take you to the supermarket and bring you back with your grocerie so that you have to carry!

They also have a large variety of English products.

Where to rent a car/moped?

 Accordo car rentals and mopeds  Very well known for their professionalism.
